Numerous paintings, many of them his, cover the walls. Stacks of half-finished pieces lean against walls and next to a sofa. The fireplace is adorned with little painted stars. The 31-year-old, who holds an art major from the University of Tampa, has been painting most of his life. But he never tried to make a living from it. Life and bills got in the way. But he loves to toil in his craft. When friends go out to a nightclub, Bohan stays home to paint. He paints scenes of the Kentucky Derby in vibrant yellows, blues and reds. Sometimes he dabbles in portraits, including one of Lenny Kravitz. The living room is his studio. Sheets cover furniture and the floor. Music plays to his mood. Finished works are displayed at art shows. Often, Bohan doesn't know how a painting will turn out when he begins. He prefers to simply ``crack open a bottle of wine and just paint.''
